Welcome Dr. Adriane Knorr!
Dr. Knorr is joining One Space Health Care as a naturopathic doctor who offers primary care to all adults, with a specialization in women’s gastrointestinal and hormone health. As a recent National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) graduate and emerging naturopath, Dr. Knorr is committed to combining her fresh medical knowledge with a fervent passion for patient education. She firmly believes that empowering patients with a thorough understanding of their own bodies is integral to the healing process. Dr. Knorr’s commitment to fostering strong doctor-patient relationships and her approach to healthcare as a collaborative effort have earned her a respected reputation in the medical community.

Dr. Knorr is on a mission to make healthcare knowledge accessible to everyone, regardless of their background. Beyond her medical practice, she has created a women’s health podcast, The Sassy Speculum. The podcast’s goal is to demystify complex health topics, ensuring that no one needs a medical degree to understand how and why their body functions the way it does. In each episode of The Sassy Speculum, she breaks down intricate subjects into digestible chunks rid of medical jargon, making them comprehensible to a wider audience. With a lighthearted and informative approach, her podcast encourages informed and empowered living, striving to redefine what should be the new norm in healthcare knowledge.

Her journey to becoming a naturopath was a multi-faceted one. Leading up to medical school, she pursued her undergraduate studies at Oregon State University, majoring in Exercise and Sports Science; laying a strong foundation in understanding the human body’s mechanics and physiology. After 3.5 years, she transferred to the University of Oregon, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Philosophy, fostering critical thinking and analytical skills that continue to enrich her approach to patient care. After college she became a full-spectrum birth doula. Providing both emotional and physical support for pregnant, laboring and post-partum moms. Through this work, she got to see firsthand how an untraditional medical model could change so many lives. This was what encouraged her to embark on her naturopathic path at NUNM, where she honed her skills and passion for holistic healthcare.

Dr. Knorr’s journey into her current role at One Space began with a year-long internship under the mentorship of Dr. Evans. This invaluable experience allowed her to refine her clinical skills and develop her patient-centered approach further, all while getting to know the patients of One Space. Alongside this internship, Dr. Knorr also dedicated her time to internships with fertility, pelvic floor, endocrine, and menopause specialists, enhancing her ability to provide comprehensive care to her patients.

Outside of her medical career, Dr. Knorr enjoys getting outside; you can often find her kayaking, camping, hiking or simply relaxing in a hammock reading fantasy books. Her love for the outdoors is only matched by her love for her partner, Joey, and their four beloved animals!
